The Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina declared a state of natural disaster in the territory of the entire entity due to catastrophic floods.

The mayor of Fojnica, Sabahudin Klisura, after a very difficult day and a tour of the flooded areas, said that there are many places without electricity, but also that unfortunately three lives were lost.
“To put it mildly, the situation in these municipalities is alarming. This morning at half past three I was on the field with police officers, we were waking people up, not knowing what would happen,” said Klisura, reports RTRS.
The teams of the Republic Administration of Civil Protection are in Jablanica and since this morning they have been searching for the missing and clearing the roads.
After a call from the Federal Administration of Civil Protection, the Civil Protection of Srpska yesterday sent the Mechanical Team and part of the Urban Search and Rescue Team to Jablanica, where they were immediately involved in the search and rescue operation, as well as the remediation of the consequences of the unprecedented storm that took human lives and made great material damage.
The leader of the Specialized Unit for Rescue from the Ruins of the Republican Administration of Civil Protection, Mladen Kulić, said for RTRS that he will be on the field all day and make all capacities available.
On the roads leading from Jablanica to Mostar and Blidinje, traffic is still suspended due to the consequences of catastrophic floods and landslides that affected that part of Herzegovina and the Neretva valley, announced the Auto-moto Association of the Republic of Srpska.
