The Federation Council approved the law on the federal budget of Russia for 2025-2027 –

The key priorities of the federal budget during this period are the fulfillment by the state of all social obligations to citizens, ensuring the security and defense of the country, achieving technological sovereignty and infrastructure development.

Budget revenues in 2025 will amount to 40.296 trillion rubles, expenses – 41.469 trillion rubles.

In the future, it is planned to increase budget revenues.

The budget deficit next year will be 0.5% of GDP.

The main source of financing the budget deficit will be domestic government borrowing.
