The fiance described the last moments of the Cat Woman, the bizarre lover of plastic | News

Jocelyn Wildenstein, known as the “cat woman” for her extreme plastic surgery, has died aged 84. Her sudden death deeply affected her fiancé, Lloyd Klein, who was 27 years her junior. In an interview with People magazine, Klein shared the painful details of the last moments he spent with Jocelyn. According to him, she died in her sleep during their stay in Paris. The couple was preparing to celebrate New Year’s Eve and decided to rest before the evening’s activities. Unfortunately, when Klein woke up, he found that his fiancée was no longer alive.

“It is extremely difficult and sad when you lie down next to someone you love and have known for more than two decades, looking forward to celebrating together, and then you find out that he is dead next to you,” Klein described his feelings. Although Jocelyn was already advanced in age, he said she had been full of energy and zest for life in recent weeks.

Klein recalled that just a few days ago, they visited the prestigious fashion event Fashion Week together and had dinner at the luxurious Ritz Hotel. Jocelyn enjoyed the social life and public interest in her person. “She was on top, feeling great and happy,” Klein said. However, her state of health was not entirely without problems.

According to Klein, the cause of death was phlebitis, a disease associated with the formation of blood clots that can block blood flow in the veins. This condition often affects the lower limbs, which was also Jocelyn’s case. “Her legs were very swollen, her circulation was blocked and she was not getting oxygen to her brain,” Klein explained.

He described the fateful moments as follows: “We just took a short nap. When I woke up, I wanted to wake her up and tell her it was time to get dressed for the evening. But she was already cold and dead.’

Jocelyn Wildenstein was known not only for her controversial plastic surgeries that disfigured her face, but also for her turbulent personal life. She divorced billionaire Alec Wildenstein in 1999, making her one of the richest women in America. She was engaged to Lloyd Klein for eight years, but the wedding never took place. Despite her unusual appearance, Klein considered her an extraordinarily beautiful woman and described their relationship as deep and loving. Jocelyn’s death means a huge loss for him.
