The final stage has been reached in the e-Government rental agreement service, which will benefit the tenant and the landlord.

Ministry units have completed their preparations for the lease agreement transactions to be given through the e-Government Gateway.

The work on the regulation of these contracts through e-Government was initiated upon the demands of citizens to resolve disputes in this regard.

The Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change and the Presidential Digital Transformation Office provided support to the Ministry in the reform work.

According to the Ministry’s study, this service will be provided through the e-Government Gateway under the title “Lease Agreement Transactions” and will be activated in two stages.

In the first phase, which will be accessible to citizens in a short time, the contract to be prepared by the real person who owns the real estate via e-Government Gateway will be approved by the tenant via e-Government.

The second phase of the service will be available by the end of the year. Thus, real estate consultants and authorized persons will be able to prepare a contract and submit it to the approval of the real estate owner and tenant.

With the service, rental agreements will be created as time-stamped “barcoded documents” and document verification can be done.

“Türkiye Real Estate Value Map” will be created

Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek pointed out that this service will benefit all segments of the population and said:

“With the e-Government Gateway, our citizens will be able to carry out lease contract transactions quickly, easily and reliably, regardless of location and without the cost of time and documents. The application will give citizens the opportunity to create contracts on a reliable government platform. Our citizens will also be relieved of the burden of submitting lease contracts to institutions. Bureaucracy “In addition, data will be provided to create the Türkiye Real Estate Value Map.”
