BANJALUKA – Two years after the Government of the Republic of Srpska decided to establish the Institute for Social Protection of the RS, few people are clear about the position and role of this public institution.
They don’t have any significant activities, and everything you can read about them is on their website, a very modest presentation with a few news items and a lot of spelling mistakes, on which, for example, you can’t even find a contact phone number.
However, instead of focusing their time on explaining their purpose to the public, they devoted their full attention to buying a new car worth about 70,000 marks including VAT.
So, for example, they determined the maximum vehicle length, width and height, among the wheelbase and the volume of the tank, which according to their needs should have a capacity of at least 45 liters.
Also, they want the car to be metallic black with a volume of 1,900 cubic meters and an engine power of 110 kilowatts, an automatic transmission with a minimum of seven speeds.
In addition, they also want tinted rear windows, a line radar to keep the vehicle in the lane, the ability to turn the vehicle on and off without a key, thermal insulating glass and numerous other equipment.
This institution was formed under the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Republic of Srpska, and the acting director is Sanja Skenderija, who previously worked in this ministry.
They are financed from the budget of the Republic of Srpska, with a transfer of 600,000 KM.
We remind you that the Government of RS registered this institution at the end of 2022 by paying the founding capital of 1,000 KM.
It was conceived as a development institution established for the purpose of monitoring, improvement, planning, encouraging development and carrying out research and professional work in the field of social protection.
The government established another institution that will be financed from the budget
Also, they can deal with the publishing of books, magazines and publications, programming, data processing, market research, public opinion polls and the like.
