There is still one year left until the start of series production, but the assembly of the pre-series models has already begun at the BMW plant in Debrecen.
Purely electric New class it is the first example of a model family, a mid-range SUV, or more precisely, much more: since not only the model is brand new, but also the production plant, the logistics and production processes are also being tested and optimized in the current phase, so that it can be launched as smoothly as possible from the end of 2025 serial production.
This phase lasts for months, and in parallel, the workers also receive intensive training and preparation.
One thing has not changed: BMW still does not provide specific, final technical data about the electric crossover that will debut in a year.
