The first Cybertruck was launched in Europe

Two different projects have also been launched, the aim of which is to make the futuristic vehicle appear on the old continent as well, reports a Electric cars.

One project was started by the Austrian Tesla Club, while the other was started by a Czech team, Cybertruck in EU. The Austrian team has one Tesla Cybertruckot managed to put it on the market with a temporary license plate, which clearly shows that European fans are not giving up on it.


However, the Czechs are one step ahead: their license plate appears to be final. THE from their Facebook page it turns out that they have been working on the project for at least a year. However, the launch did not go smoothly.

According to some sources, quite a few modifications had to be made to the car to meet European standards. The red direction indicators had to be replaced with yellow, as this is the color that complies with European regulations. The lack of fog lights did not satisfy the Czech traffic authority either, so they had to be replaced as well. In addition, new reversing lights were installed, as the plaque covered the original lights due to the Czech license plate. Another minor change is that some edges have been fitted with rubber protection to make the car pass the test.

Cybertruck technika

The two electric motor, all-wheel drive variants weigh more than 3.5 tons, which means that it would not even be able to be driven here with a category B driver’s license. The rear-wheel-drive base version of the Tesla Cybertruck costs $60,000 (HUF 22 million) in North America. The all-wheel-drive variant costs almost $80,000 (HUF 29 million), while the top model with 855 horsepower, the Cyberbeast, can be purchased for around $100,000 (HUF 35 million) from 2025.

Although Tesla does not officially sell the Cybertruck in Europe, interest and creative solutions have already begun to pave the way for the vehicle to arrive on the continent.
