The 2026 Mercedes C-Class restyling, here’s what it could be like
Mercedes is known for maintaining a conservative approach in restyling and it is likely that the updated C-Class will not be shaken up. The main changes will concern the front, with the headlights which could adopt a new one star-shaped light signaturesimilar to that of the new CLA. Furthermore, the grille could take up the style of the E-Class, with black edges and chrome strips.
At the rear, the changes will be less obvious, probably limited to new graphics for the light clusters and some tweaks to the bumper.
As regards the passenger compartment, it is possible that Mercedes will introduce new materials for the coverings and some changes to the dashboard, especially for theinfotainment.
The engine range
Moving on to engineswe think that the restyling C-Class will confirm most of the current engines, with Mercedes working further on efficiency. Towards confirmation, therefore, the mild hybrid petrol and diesel engines with power from 204 HP up to 408 HP, in the case of the C 43 AMG.
The controversial four-cylinder engine of the current Mercedes-AMG C 63 SE Performance
We expect further refinement of the variants petrol and diesel plug-in hybridswith electric mileages exceeding 130-150 km. And, speaking of plug-ins, it remains to be seen whether Mercedes will confirm the C 63 AMG with the 2.0 turbo 4-cylinder and an electric motor for 680 HP. Although capable of exceptional performance, this version has not convinced all enthusiasts and this is why a switch to a six-cylinder engine cannot be completely ruled out.
