The first public beta of iOS 18.2 with ChatGPT has been released

Apple has released the first public beta of iOS 18.2.

Build number – 22C5125e.

Now anyone can test Siri with ChatGPT, Genmoji and Image Playground. What else is new in this firmware:

• now you can share the geolocation of your things, like AirTag, through the application Locator

• a section has appeared in the Apple Intelligence settings that displays the daily limit of ChatGPT requests and offers the opportunity to subscribe to a paid ChatGPT Plus subscription for $19.99 per month

• increased battery life and reduced heating of iPhone

• icons in the application Settings now have a border to make them stand out better against dark backgrounds

•

• in the iPhone 16 camera settings you can now enable AE/AF Lock – this locks automatic focus and exposure

• iPhone Mirroring now works if your iPhone shares the Internet

• V Locator You can now enable Lost Mode for AirTag

• to the library Team added new commands for Fitness

• now in the app Notes you can quickly create an image using the specified text, generated in Image Playground

The software size is about 7 GB. You can download iOS 18.2 Public beta 1 over the air now.
