The first three months are free for this responsible and supportive 80 GB mobile plan

Source, a subsidiary of Bouygues Télécom, is an operator which allows its users to convert their unused GB into donations for associations. Customers will be able to do this with the 80 GB 4G package at 10 euros per month, and the good news is that three months are currently offered for any subscription.

Responsible and supportive: this is how Source, a subsidiary of Bouygues Télécom, presents its 4G 80 GB mobile plan. This operator, which offers a fairly generous data envelope, has an operation that contrasts with many others on the market: it allows its customers to convert their GB not consumed during the month into donations for various associations, thanks to its partnership with Lilo, a French and solidarity search engine. To convince more users to join its ranks, and thus allow them to do good deeds every month, Source is currently offering three months with its 80 GB plan, displayed the rest of the time at 10 euros per month.

What does this Source plan offer?

  • 80 GB of 4G in mainland France and 10 GB from Europe and the overseas territories
  • Unlimited calls, SMS and MMS
  • The Bouygues Télécom network
  • The possibility of supporting associations thanks to unused GB

Currently, three months are offered with the Source 80 GB 4G package, then displayed at 10 euros per month.

A complete package

This Source package therefore provides an envelope of 80 GB of 4G, amply sufficient for those who have moderate use of the Internet each month, but who wish to be able from time to time to watch a few episodes of a series in streaming or scroll on social networks every day, and even do a little connection sharing from time to time. We still advise them to connect to Wi-Fi as soon as possible, to save a few GB. Moreover, be aware that the package is blocked at 80 GB, which avoids any risk of out of package which could be expensive. But if necessary, you can always recharge this plan in GB directly from the application. Furthermore, note that this package also offers 10 GB of consumable data from Europe and the overseas territories.

The package also includes unlimited calls, SMS and MMS from and to mainland France, as well as unlimited calls and SMS from Europe and the overseas territories to mainland France. Source being a subsidiary of Bouygues Télécom, the operator’s customers will be able to benefit from a very good national network which: in 4G, Bouygues covers more than 99% of the population and 95% of the territory according to ARCEP.

No commitment, but very committed

The real plus of Source is its partnership with Lilo, a French and solidarity search engine which finances environmental and social projects. Concretely, with its package, Source allows its customers to convert GB not consumed during the month into “drops”, counted in the application, which they can then pay each month to one or more associations. One GB saved is equivalent to 20 drops.

So if you consume 30 GB in the month, your remaining 50 GB will represent 1,000 drops. The donations thus collected thanks to this drop system can be donated by Lilo to numerous associations. The drops make it possible, for example, to finance bed chairs for families of patients in hospitals, to treat SPA animals, to fight against deforestation or to support vulnerable populations following humanitarian disasters.

Note that you will need to add 9 euros in the total of your order to obtain the new triple-cut SIM. And if you want to change your plan, but keep your phone number, you can request one for free. You will simply need to bring your RIO (we explain how to recover it here) and provide it to your new operator when ordering the package. The latter will then be responsible for transferring your mobile phone number free of charge to the new line. The change of operator will thus be done without interruption.
