The section “For you” in the Apple Store app has been updated with new customization options and settings.
The latest update to Apple’s shopping platform, where users can learn about, explore and purchase the company’s devices, has been revamped, including the section “For you” from the Apple Store, which the company says gives users a more personalized experience. Two existing options in the app’s user interface have also been updated, though they still appear to offer the same navigation functionality.
According to Apple’s release notes, the section “For you” in the Apple Store app now provides relevant suggestions. In addition, it can inform the user about ongoing promotional campaigns, such as free Apple Music offers or Apple TV+ trials.
The “For you” section of the Apple Store comes with new options
As part of this update, the option Shop was replaced by Productsagain Go Further now appears instead of Sessions. However, both functions still lead to their previous pages, the former taking users to the shopping screen, while the latter opens Apple sessions.
In addition to these changes, Apple has also introduced a new data collection feature that collects information about user subscriptions and their shopping activities to make suggestions. But this is an optional feature, which means that users will not be automatically enrolled. Apple says users can change these settings.
The update also brings a new series of videos called “Today at Apple“. This consists of short videos that provide information about Apple devices and tips related to their features, notes Gadgets 360.
