Ford announced that their F-series pick-up was the best-selling car in the US last year as well. This is not a surprise because the F-Series has been the undisputed sales champion in the US for decades.
As he states Index.hr, Ford points out that this model is the best-selling pick-up truck in the US for the 48th year in a row and the best-selling car overall in the US for the 43rd year in a row.
Sales of the F-series by the end of the third quarter of 2024 amounted to 550,835 cars, which represents a slight decrease of 3.9 percent, writes Autostart.
Ford claims that “the success of the F-Series is built on Ford’s commitment to offering a diverse range of powertrains to meet the needs of every customer.” No other manufacturer offers the choices that Ford does. From gasoline and diesel-powered “workhorses” to PowerBoost Hybrid versions and the all-electric F-150 Lightning.
The company noted that it has sold more than 33 million F-series pickup trucks since 1977 and highlighted the fact that the F-150 will celebrate its 50th anniversary.
