The forum in Moscow helps the interaction of the BRICS countries in the field of IT and cybersecurity

These exhibits at the aerospace corporation’s stand at the International Technology Forum are one of the few that you can literally touch. Others are virtual and are located, for example, in cloud storage. The events that took place within the framework of the International Technology Congress, held in Moscow, are dedicated to such technologies.

Geosatellites, spacecraft that provide Internet access, and other industry developments at the exhibition coexist with servers, smartphones and tablets running Russian software, an autonomous assistant secretary Zina, as well as drones that are successfully used in construction, agriculture and geological exploration .

Egor Melnikov, manager of a Russian manufacturer of unmanned aerial vehicles:

“We are probably the only company in the world that works in this area – it has a full production cycle: from creation itself to software, to operation, to repair. That is, this, undoubtedly, is probably such a serious advantage.”

The Russian company has been cooperating with the BRICS countries for several years. And at this site in Moscow, I signed an agreement with new partners from India.

Finding key partners in resolving issues of technological sovereignty and cybersecurity is the main thing for which delegations from India, Cambodia, Pakistan, Cuba and other countries came to Moscow. It is not easy to succeed in technology development alone – you need close cooperation with industry leaders. Especially in promising areas – microelectronics, photonics, robotics and biotechnology.

Debjit Chakraborty, Executive Director of the Chamber of Indo-Russian Technical Cooperation:

“One of our main tasks, which we solve in the engineering center created in Delhi, is to help bring leaders of the Russian technology sector to India so that they can start a business in India. We are also planning startups, different types of scientific academic research that would conduct Russian universities in India”.

Cuban experts also see prospects for cooperation.

Luis Alberto Mora Gonzales, CEO of the Russian-Cuban technological enterprise:

“We are working with our partners to find interested parties among Russian companies to participate in a joint project on the territory of the Republic of Cuba. We also want to find and establish relationships with companies and representatives of other BRICS countries.”

About five thousand people took part in the First International Technology Congress. The TV BRICS media network acted as the event’s media partner.
