After a turbulent start to the month due to the crisis at INEM, on the 11th day the topic returned to the State Budget. On the final day for submitting proposals to change the document, the PSD waited for all the opposition press conferences to launch a new bomb at six in the afternoon: if the PS did not make it possible to drop the IRC by one percentage point, the Social Democrats would force it to drop by two (guaranteed with the votes of IL and Chega). In the evening, about four and a half hours later, the socialists announced, in a statement to Lusa, which will allow the negotiated reduction to pass but not agreed with the Government drop of one percentage point.
The last problem for the Budget is just the extraordinary increase in pensions, proposed by the PS and which Chega admits to making possible.
