Problems with client file hacking are unfortunately commonplace. We regularly learn that this or that shopping site has been hacked and that malicious people have obtained a large list of names associated with emails.

Free’s case was significantly more severe. The leak already concerns nearly 20 million subscriber accounts. A huge number. Above all, this time it was the banking data, the IBANs, which were concerned.
In September, it was the operator in the red square, SFR, who was hacked.

We asked you if you were affected by the data leak at Free or SFR. Without too much surprise: a huge majority of participants say they are affected by Free piracy (83.4%).
9% of respondents subscribe to Free, but are not on the list of people whose sensitive data has been stolen.
On the SFR side, 7.2% of you indicate having been affected by piracy. The rest of the responses collected represent only 0.4% of the total.
