The St. Petersburg metro reported on the progress of work on the reconstruction of the vestibule of the Frunzenskaya metro station.
As reported by the press service of the underground, by now specialists have demolished the old structures of the vestibule and have begun work in the inclined passage and the machine room.
In parallel, work is underway on the site of the future building of the Unified Dispatch Center of the Metro. There, workers are installing bored piles for the foundation.
In addition, in the coming weeks, they will begin to dismantle the old escalators at the Frunzenskaya metro station.
The station’s reconstruction is planned to last 36 months and will be carried out in two stages. The facility is expected to be completed by June 1, 2027.
It was previously reported that finishing work had been completed at the Gorny Institut metro station.
