One of the best electric cars in the world at the moment, from the Chinese company “GM Electric Vehicle”, specialized in the production of clean electric vehicles, which is represented in the region by the company “Cubi” from Novi Sad, was ceremonially promoted on the Serbian and European markets. It is a very high-quality vehicle with the highest, fourth-generation batteries, with a range of 500 kilometers and a price of 36,000 euros, while there is a state subsidy in the amount of 5,000 euros for the purchase.
The future from the world of the auto industry from China has also arrived on the Serbian market, where from now on the fully electric car of the latest generation of the company “Jim Elektric Viakl” will be sold, while it will be available on the European market from November. The general importer, distributor and repairer is the Novi Sad company “Cubi”.
“This vehicle is both the Serbian and European premiere and it is very affordable and very high quality with the highest standard and 4th generation batteries. It has a range of 500 kilometers, so the battery is 63 kW and the engine is 118 kW, or if we use the old one, 160 horses “, says Brankica Zjalić, the project manager of the company “Dži Em elektrik viakl”.
At the presentation of the new limousine model, it was pointed out that the Chinese auto industry has practically completely switched to the production of electric vehicles, because they believe that this is a clean future, as evidenced by the fact that more than 60 percent of the vehicle fleet in that country consists of electric vehicles with the autonomy of a single charge of up to a thousand kilometers.
“Our car meets all European safety standards. It is a car with a very attractive design, and it also has impressive performance. This car model is very popular in China. From 2015 to today, we have already sold 150,000 purely electric units,” he says. Frank Wu, deputy general director of the company “GM Electric Vehicle”.
In that company, they state that for the price of 36,000 euros, drivers get high quality, because other vehicles in that category are even twice as expensive as that model. The good news is that consumers can count on state subsidies for their purchases.
“The state subsidy was now until October 31 and amounted to five thousand euros per vehicle, which means that the vehicle would then be 31 thousand euros, and we hope that from February next year that subsidy for electric vehicles would start again,” says Frank Whoa.
The warranty on that car is five years, and the batteries in it are eight years. By the way, slightly more than three thousand electric vehicles of all brands have been registered in Serbia so far.
