Calea Victoriei Foundation and Bucharest National Opera invites you on Sunday, January 5, from 7:00 p.m. to Extraordinary New Year’s Concert, gala event in its 11th edition.
We eagerly await you to step into the new year, embarking together on a seductive journey in The Garden of Dreams – The Garden of Dreams, a memorable sound experience in the universe of great composers such as Mozart, Rossini, Donizetti, Bizet, Offenbach and Strauss the Son.
Our special guest is the mezzo-soprano Ruxandra Donoseworld-class soloist, one of the greatest lyrical artists with a prestigious international career. Since the 90s, the artist has performed on the great stages of the world, such as Covent Garden in London, the Metropolitan Opera in New York and the Vienna State Opera.
Ruxandra Donose will be accompanied by Alexander Constantineone of the most appreciated artists of the Bucharest National Opera, a talented baritone with a deep, strong and expressive voice. The two soloists will bring to the public famous arias and duets, love stories from operas such as Carmen, Cosi fan Tutte, The Barber of Seville or Lucia di Lammermoor, all in the elegant and lavish setting of the Bucharest National Opera.
„If we were to unite all these female characters that I will play under one idea, they are all strong, independent women with personality, who do not stand in anyone’s shadow.”, says the mezzo-soprano Ruxandra Donose.
The charismatic conductor Tiberius Soare will guide us, along with Symphactory Orchestrain a magical experience through Garden of Dreamswhere we will live, together with the characters on stage, the most beautiful emotions, the most sublime states of grace.
During the break of the concert we will enjoy, in the foyer, fine wines offered by Jidvei.
