The iconic game Red Light, Green Light is available on Google search.
The second season of the highly successful Netflix series, Squid Game, is finally available, the sequel invites viewers to new deadly games. On the occasion of the premiere, Google also prepared a special surprise: it hid a Red Light, Green Light mini-game in its search engine.
How can you reach it?
Simply search Google for “Squid Game” on your desktop or phone. A brown card with circle, triangle and square patterns appears at the bottom of the results. Click or touch the card to start the game!
What awaits you?
The mini-game faithfully evokes the series’ iconic “Red Light, Green Light” scene, but luckily it’s much more stress-free. An animated version of the Young-hee doll appears, watching the players with two masked guards. At the bottom of the screen, you can see six green warming characters who can be moved forward by pressing the blue “O” button and stopped by the red “X” button.
The goal is to move the players towards Young-hee while the doll’s back is turned. But when he turns and starts singing, they must be stopped immediately. This little game is a fun, light way to get fans in the mood before (or after) the second season episodes.
