The GPD DUO with two OLED displays will not be cheap

On the other hand, newer AMD Ryzens work inside the frame, and there will be no shortage of memory either.

Back in the spring of this year, we wrote about the GPD DUO notebook with two OLED displays, about which little information was known at the time, but now practically everything has been revealed. The 13.3-inch AM-OLED panels still provide 18 inches when unfolded, and they are also touch sensitive.

It was also known that it would be an AI PC, which eventually took the form of the Copilot+ platform, as AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 SoC APU was included in the frame. It is important, however, that there will also be a non-Copilot+ variant with a Ryzen 7 8840U system chip. The system memory can be 16, 32 or 64 GB, while the data can be stored by a 512 GB or 1 or 2 TB SSD. The smallest configuration is only reserved for the Ryzen 7 8840U model, while the two larger ones can be requested for the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370.

Unfortunately, the weak point of the development will be the price, because the basic model will cost 1,425, while the Copilot+ variations will cost 1,790 and 1,971 dollars, depending on the memory and storage capacity. The system is anyway IndieGogo campaign can be purchased cheaper as a part.

GPD will also offer an optional eGPU, in the form of the GPD G1, with an AMD Radeon RX 7600M GPU, which can be ordered for $699 in its natural form, and $741 with an Oculink cable.
