Father Calistrat, from the Vlădiceni Monastery in Iasi, became famous on social networks thanks to his nonconformist sermons.
On Facebook, where he is followed by an impressive number of people, the father publishes sermons in which he analyzes Christian teachings in a contemporary language.
In one of these sermons, the father talks about loans.
“Remember from me, that he is a friend, that he is a neighbor, that he is a companion, that he is an enemy, that he is a sister, that he is a brother, when you borrow a penny, give it back to you bind Satan alone and poverty to your fence.
You will never get rich by borrowing and not paying back. It is the greatest curse and the greatest sin that man can commit.
And the peak is that it multiplies and I always hear: “That one has so much!”; “That one has so much!” he goes and borrows with such nonchalance and lack of common sense that he forgets that he has to give it back. I don’t say it as a reproach, but to make you realize that you are tying your own poverty to the fence. God hates the sly and takes the increase and the grace and the gift! Father Calistrat: “When you have a problem or a problem, don’t worry until a blood vessel breaks in your head. Say THIS: Lord…”
Father Calistrat Chifan revealed what we must do when we feel that problems are chained and we have no escape. Here are his words of wisdom!
Say this: “Lord, You let me slip into this trouble, You help me out!”
When you have a problem or a problem, don’t worry until you burst a blood vessel in your head, or you get sick from stress and take tons of pills.
But you say like this: “Lord, You let me slip into this trouble, You help me out!” And you start with the Chapel of the Mother of God, with the Savior’s Akathist, with a prayer to St. Mina and pray to the Mother of God and to the Covering, and say here and there a St. Spyridon, and there is also Michael and Gabriel for the enemies, and you will see that the bad things subside by themselves!
Because after you get sick, I don’t use your successes anymore?
So you must remain a man of integrity to God, to be able to enjoy His Glory and His Greatness!
Everything is in God’s hands! We must prove that we are concentrated Orthodox and not turn into diluted Orthodox! Instead of learning St. Scripture by heart, we learn all kinds of writings and nonsense that idle people write. And you hear some who read:
“Woe to see that the Earth is led and that the Earth is directed.”
Man be sir, man be! Because the traffic is directed and the country is led.
But the destiny of each person, above all, is in God’s hand!
“The Lord destroys the council of the boyars!” That is, of our leaders!
“The Lord shatters the thoughts of the people!” That is, what others are up to! And the Lord remains forever and His memory from generation to generation!
