The hard hand of De Laurentiis: Napoli is at war with the attacking ace. He lost his number and his start in Serie A – Foreign leagues – Football

On Saturday night, the summer transfer window ended in the best European football leagues. One of his biggest surprises is that the star striker and teammate of Stanislav Lobotka, Nigerian Victor Osimhen, did not leave SSC Napoli.

Victor Osimhen probably won’t kick the ball in the Napoli jersey anymore.

The telenovela about the transfer of Osimhen will continue in the following hours. After his departure to Saudi Arabia’s Al-Ahli and London’s Chelsea fell through at the last minute, Napoli management made a drastic decision.

Osimhen’s number 9 has already been transferred to the new signing, Belgian Romelu Lukaku, and above all, the attacker’s name was not registered for this Serie A season.

Spain’s Marca reported that in the final hours of the transfer window, it was Osimhen himself who rejected Chelsea’s offer. The English team had prepared a four-year contract for him with a salary of four million euros per year. This proposal should have been thrown off the table by the Nigerian, because he would earn half less than he currently earns in Napoli.

SSC owner and president Aurelio De Laurentiis, who is known for ruling with a heavy hand, decided to remove Osimhen from the team’s roster until further notice. Coach Antonio Conte, who is already looking forward to Lukaku’s arrival at Diego Maradona’s stadium, apparently agreed with this unexpected verdict.

It seems that the only option left for Osimhen is to work in Saudi Arabia, where he did not transfer until September 2nd. However, the English representative Ivan Toney has already transferred to Al-Ahli, so it is doubtful whether anyone will be interested in the Nigerian at the last minute.
