Since the announcement of the next series produced by HBO dedicated to the seven books of the saga Harry Potteropinions differ on the usefulness of a new adaptation. However, everyone agrees that even if it means having a new version of the magical universe brought to the screen, as much as it develops and explores numerous aspects which had not been entitled to any or little treatment in films. An exploration of the universe which could even extend well beyond the simple adaptation and offer us to discover things that even JK Rowling did not particularly seek to detail, if not to say completely forgotten in her novels.
Christmas and its holidays are presented to us in the same way as if they took place among Muggles. If when we read the books, this seems completely normal to us (because we are Muggles), it is still very strange that this Christmas celebration is almost the same among wizards as it is for us. Indeed, if it is already strange that wizards celebrate Christmas every year, there is no mention of Santa Claus, even though he would fit perfectly into the magical universe of our young wizard with glasses. Santa Claus and all the legendarium surrounding him would be very interesting and even fantastical to incorporate into the wizarding world.
This legendary character, much appreciated by Muggle children, could be nothing less than a wizard and the development of this would make it possible to link the legendary Muggle with the magical universe. To see if HBO will think about developing this aspect under the supervision of JK Rowling.
