The great excitement that marked the last few competitive weeks of the Avala Cup was not absent even in the last two rounds of the league part of the competition. The laurels were picked up by the Eagles team, multiple champions of this major Serbian competition in indoor soccer, which finished the first stage of the competition in first place and entered the playoffs as a big favorite.

The Eagles did not allow any surprises in the final, so with victories against Ravni Kotar (1:0) and Farma (5:1) they crossed the finish line as the only undefeated team. However, the outcome was merciless, so the Eagles will have one of the toughest rivals, last year’s champions from RS Krajina, as the first place.

Krajišnik’s draw in the last round with Ravni Kotari (1:1) contributed to this outcome, which is why they finished fourth instead of second in the table, due to a lower goal difference than Kadet and Kollymore Park, who make up the second pair of the qualifying final. The winners of the duels played this Wednesday will directly advance to the semi-finals, while the losers will have the right to a rematch against the teams that will be better in the playoffs from fifth to eighth place, and they will meet: Pensioneri – Komarci, Ravni Kotari – Farma.
