Today, Läänemaa hospital is evacuating 20 patients, played by actors, from the hospital to the cultural center during the exercise.
According to the legend, a bomb threat was made to the intensive care unit of the hospital and a suspicious object was also found, the hospital’s nursing manager Marju Lepmets explained during the exercise. He said that everything is under control and that what is happening at the hospital is being communicated through social media on an ongoing basis.
A little after 10 o’clock today, sirens sounded across Haapsalu, as rescuers and police officers went to the hospital to check the situation. A bomb squad with a dog also arrived at the scene.
