The Finnish premiere of Megalopolis, directed by Francis Ford Coppola, will take place at the Helsinki International Film Festival – Love & Anarchy in September.
Megalopolis will be shown at the Megagala of the Rakkautat & Anarkiaa festival on Tuesday, September 24, according to a recent in the media release.
The place is Bio Rex Lasipalatsi in the center of Helsinki and the time is 18:00.
The film with numerous Hollywood stars is presented as follows:
“Megalopolis, the sensational dream project of director legend Francis Ford Coppola, will be presented at the festival’s unique Megagala venue on Tuesday, September 24. Through city planner Cesar, played by Adam Driver, a cheeky Kreis utopia of love, power, corruption, creation – and above all time is rolled onto the canvas. The spectacle, unparalleled in its ambition, will have its long-awaited Finnish premiere, of course, at the Love & Anarchy festival.”
Rakkautat & Anarkiaa says that there is still no certainty about Megalopolis’ wider theatrical distribution in Finland.
Helsinki International Film Festival – Love & Anarchy will be held in Helsinki on September 19–29, 2024.
The entire program of the festival will be announced on Thursday, September 5, and individual ticket sales will begin on Monday, September 9.
