The Hungarian startup technocrat can help the work of thousands of agricultural professionals

FarmLYNX, dreamed up by the company, is a unique, domestically developed agricultural cooperation system that not only supports legal data provision, but also comprehensively supports the data-based operation of farms.

AgroLYNX Zrt. is a startup company founded in 2020. The company’s main product is the soon-to-be-debuted FarmLYNX. It is a unique agricultural collaboration software system in which the day-to-day operations of a farm can be fully monitored and all actors in the agricultural community can be reached with a few clicks. The startup was created by companies that have a strong professional background in the agricultural sector, as well as in the field of information provision and software development. The aim of the founders is to take a pioneering role in the digitization of agriculture. Their intention is to make the benefits of online cooperation available and usable to small and medium-sized domestic farms, as well as the analysis and decision support possibilities inherent in the “big data” solution. All this with little investment, through a simple user-friendly interface available 24 hours a day in any web browser. The founders hope that with the help of FarmLYNX, Hungarian agricultural enterprises will become more and more aware, efficient and sustainable, and will successfully develop their farming.

“According to our plans, FarmLYNX will become available in the last days of October. We will decide on the final start date depending on our discussions with the representatives of the profession and the success of the final finishing touches to the development work, but we don’t need to sleep much on it.”

– said Béla Bartók, the head of AgroLYNX Zrt., who is already a well-known name among agricultural professionals, as he came to the head of the company with a significant agro-focused market research background and two decades of professional experience.

In the first round, they focus on domestic agriculture, but international presence may come later

The company’s innovative software initially focuses only on domestic agriculture, and according to their plans, they do not want to change this for a few years, so that the Hungarian introduction can really take place successfully. However, the system was built in English from the beginning, and as a result, the native Hungarian version had to be translated, so the software is prepared to be used in other countries as well. After the introduction in Hungary, it will be able to be used more widely in neighboring countries, and later even in Europe. However, it is worth noting that official agricultural reporting systems differ significantly from country to country. Therefore, the introduction in different countries requires serious caution and thorough work, which is why they plan to proceed carefully, step by step.

“Certain parts of FarmLYNX will be available on an application in addition to the web interface. However, for the sake of comprehensibility, this only complements the well-understood program built for the big screen. On the other hand, the software will be available in both Hungarian and English from the start, so non-Hungarian users who are farmers in our country will also be able to use it.”

– emphasized the manager of AgroLYNX Zrt.

They count not only on the presence of larger farms, but also on small farmers, as well as specialist consultants who provide very important agronomic and administrative support for farmers.

FarmLYNX, which can be used under favorable conditions and provides a free trial period at the start, includes almost the entire domestic agricultural sector as potential users. This is due to the fact that the program covers a really very complex software system, of which only the necessary parts are visible to the given user.

“Who should try the FarmLYNX service first? We recommend it to all farmers, consultants, plant protection and nutrient management specialists, input material traders, seed breeders, propagators, pesticide and fertilizer distributors, as well as crop dealers and agricultural machinery distributors. Thanks to the features of the system, almost everyone working in agriculture can use the software”

– pointed out Béla Bartók, who added that the biggest interest in the first round is likely to come from medium-sized farms, integrator collaborations, as well as family farms and the specialist consultant network that supports them, because they are preparing solutions to fill gaps in their burning problems.
