The Minister of Energy, Sebastian Burduja, convened for Sunday morning, September 15, the Energy Command with all those involved in solving the situation determined by the floods in Galati County.

“I convened the Energy Command for tomorrow morning with all those involved in solving the situation in Galati. (…) Meanwhile, the intervention teams managed to resupply the localities of Cuza Vodă, Slobozia Conachi, Cuca and Plevna”, wrote Burduja, on Saturday in the evening, on his Facebook page.

According to a minister, the intervention teams of the distribution operator (DEER – Muntenia Nord) are all mobilized in the Galati flood area. In the last hours, they managed to reconnect four transformer stations. The number of unsupplied users was, at 21:30, 24,089, slightly decreasing.

Interventions in flooded areas

“Interventions in the field are carried out in particularly difficult conditions, and several lines were withdrawn at the request of the authorities, precisely to protect the population. In total, 13 LEA 20kV are unavailable. We coordinated throughout the day with the MAI-General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations, which provided us with a special vehicle, an 8×8 van, relocated from the Brăila area, to be able to reach the flood-affected transformer station more quickly. Thank you for your prompt support so that during the night and tomorrow we can reconnect a significant number of households. We are with all those who are going through these difficult moments and we are making all possible efforts to fix the problems in the field as soon as possible”, the Minister of Energy said.

He emphasized that the localities of Bujoru (partially), Băneasa, Moscu, Lunca Jorăşti, PTA SMA Drăguşeni, Izvoarele, Bereşti (partially), Pleşa, Vinderei Obîrseni (Vaslui), Cavadineşti (partially), Grăpeni, Vădeni, Bereşti, Suhurlui, Rediu, Pechea, Sat Lupele, Costachi Negri, Valea Mărului, Mîndreşti, Cudalbi, Griviţa, Corod, Brătulesti, Blînzi, Piscu, Vameş, Suceveni, Măstăcani, Chiraftei, Drăculeşti.
