2025 is the year in which the leisure platform Days and Nights celebrates 25 years since its first appearance.
The new issue of the pop culture magazine Days and Nights, the January 2025 edition, is printed in 132 pages and is distributed free of charge in premium locations, such as theaters, cultural spaces, cinemas, cafes or pubs in Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Brașov , Iasi, Timisoara, Constanța and Craiova.
In EDITORIAL from the opening of the magazine in January, the publisher Ioan Big reminds us that this year Zile si Nopți celebrates a quarter of a century of pop culture in Romania:
“In the year 2000 I appeared with Days and Nightsand since then, without interruption, we continue to encourage the discovery of new things through cultural, artistic and lifestyle experiments, subsumed Pop culture.
In the year of hits Old Customs, Stop pulling us to the rightand The Vine, The bass and the big drumthe year they launched Smiley cu Simple and Delia cu N&Dand the young (at that time) filmmakers Cristi Mungiu, Tudor Giurgiu, Catalin Mitulescu or Adrian Sitaru had started to attract attention with their short films, I went on the road with Days and Nights in the idea of constituting ourselves as guides through the experiential urban environment.

Contributing massively to a film’s success and impact, costume art is an essential visual tool for defining stories and characters’ identities. Without requiring words, the pieces of clothing convey information about the past and the social, emotional or psychological status of the heroes, becoming, in the worldbuilding process, lifestyle elements that induce a sense of intimacy and a deep connection between the protagonists and their environment. The terracotta factory in Mediaș was established in 1906, by the Saxon Gref Iulius. For almost 80 years (1938-2015), it changed several owners, including the Romanian State.
Since 2015, the factory is again owned by a Saxon entrepreneur, Uwe Draser. We wanted to learn more about this unique business in Romania, and our questions were answered by Radu George, general manager of Teracota Mediaș.
