Had 2,000 unpaid overtime hours
This happened to a man named Kay who had a whopping 2,000 overtime hours for which he was not paid.
It turned out that the payroll system had failed to pay him compensation for the thousands of hours he worked overtime. Now he therefore urges you to be observant and check the salary specification so that you get the right amount of money for the right amount of time worked.

The hours corresponded to SEK 162,000
Kay from Stockholm works as a treatment assistant. When he discovered that he had 2,000 unpaid overtime hours, he made sure, as an hourly temp, to get the right pay. The result was that the unpaid hours corresponded to a full 162,000 kroner, after tax the remaining amount was written to 93,000 kroner.
– It doesn’t sting immediately. But it’s actually my money from the beginning and I would have been just as happy if it was 500 I got back. Right must be right, he tells the newspaper The municipal worker.

“Huge sums of money”
When he realized there were hours he hadn’t been paid for, he contacted his employer who helped him get the money. Now Kay urges all hourly employees to make sure the correct wages have been paid. Therefore, check all salary specifications, old and new, and make sure that all working hours are correctly reported. Also make sure you received the correct compensation for the time before regulated working hours were introduced.
