The jubilee of the legend – the 50th birthday of the Volkswagen Golf

The 50th birthday of the VW Golf, a legend of the automotive world, was also celebrated in Belgrade. At the event, which was attended by a large number of fans of the brand, loyal clients and representatives of the media, a special place was occupied by legendary musicians from the former Yugoslavia, who reminded us of the rich history of the Golf, how it has grown with us over the decades and its role in everyday life. . The Golf, introduced in 1974, has become synonymous with reliability, quality and innovation, and through eight generations and over 37 million units sold, it has maintained its status as one of the best-selling cars in history. The first Golf models appeared on the streets of the former Yugoslavia in the second half of the 1970s, when this car had already attracted attention throughout Europe. Its popularity grew rapidly thanks to its compact design, durability and reliability, which were key features that appealed to domestic drivers.
