Prime Minister Viktor Orbán also spoke about the child abuse in the adventure park in Szolnok in his Friday interview with Kossuth Radio. “It’s intolerable, intolerable and calls for consequences.” Whoever runs the children’s camp is responsible to the parents, and the government’s job is to prevent people who cannot meet this responsibility from organizing the camp, said the Prime Minister. It didn’t take long after his statement, the authorities already took action. Róbert Tahon, the secretary general of the Hungarian Karate Association, told RTL Hírado that he acted as a “behind officer”, Yakuzák SE cannot organize the karate camp after this, the association was also expelled, and Tibor Agócs was stripped of his dan degree and the title of karate master. After the scandal, the association banned the coach and started disciplinary action against him, which presumably ended with the current announcement.
The ex-girlfriend and former student of Tibor Agócs, who was 19 years old when she entered into a relationship with a man 21 years older than her, also spoke to RTL Hírado. She said that at first the karate coach “only abused her mentally: he brainwashed her, alienated her from her family, controlled her clothing”, and later he also physically abused her, punching and kicking her after he got it into his head that she was his girlfriend.
