Although the facelifted Lamborghini Urus is now sold exclusively as a PHEV, the company’s business is booming.
According to Motor1, Lamborghini has enough orders for the Urus to keep it busy through 2025. In other words, new orders for the “Super SUV” won’t be filled until 2026.
The first Urus was launched seven years ago, while the new one is expected only at the end of the decade. The second-generation model will switch to all-electric power when it arrives around 2029.
As for the Revuelto, this Lamborghini model is also a hot commodity. The waiting time for a plug-in hybrid V12 supercar exceeds two years. Ordering it today means you’ll get it in late 2026 or early 2027.
Lamborghini also mentions that the new Temerario has received a “very positive response from the public” following its world premiere in mid-August during Monterey Motor Week.
Lamborghini sold a record 10,112 cars in 2023, and this year is even better. The company had its best January-September period ever after delivering 8,411 vehicles. This is an increase of 8.6 percent compared to the first nine months of last year.
Also, the nine-month income increased by 20 percent, to 2.43 billion euros.
