The latest Porsche 911 Dakar is even more special

With just 2,500 examples produced the Porsche 911 Dakar represents one of the most exclusive versions of the German coupé ever produced. Raised trim, front and rear hook protections, enlarged wheel arches and much more. A 911 to go where the asphalt ends, without fear of getting stuck.

Now the time has come stop productionwith the delivery of the 2,500th example. The most special of all, not so much because after the 911 Dakar it will say goodbye, but for its very particular aesthetic characterization.

Germany – Italy

Commissioned by an Italian collector the Porsche 911 Dakar special request (this is the full name of the example, like the company’s customization program) is characterized by a 3-tone color choice, with painting – hand-applied – Signalyellow, metallic Gentian Blue and Lampedusa Blue (created with the collaboration of the customer) , to recall the winning car of the Paris-Dakar 1984.

The customization doesn’t end here: the rims reflect the Signayellow color of the bodywork, with a profile in Lampedusa Blue, which we also find in the ring surrounding the LED matrix headlights. The presence of the Rallye Design package completes everything.

The interiors of the Porsche 911 Dakar Sonderwunsch reflect the color theme of the bodywork: yellow for stitching and decorative stripes on the dashboard, central console, door panels, writing “911 Dakar” on the seat headrests and leather insert on the PDK gear selector. The list of special equipment concludes with logo special request projected to the ground by the front lights when the door is opened.

Nothing has been changed regarding the mechanics: suspension raised by 60 mm, specific protections and 3.0 boxer 6 cylinders of biturbo from 480 HP and 570 Nm remain in place.

Before ending up in the hands of its owner, the special 911 Dakar will make a stop at the Porsche Museum.
