The latest video-teaser of Honor Magic7 Pro shows the new quad camera!

Honor is scheduled to hold a new event this Wednesday to highlight the next major version of its Android software, MagicOS 9.0. And it looks like Honor doesn’t stop there, as on 10/30, the company will also reveal the first flagships to use this software – the Honor Magic7 series.

The Chinese company even gave us a quick look at one of the phones, the Honor Magic7 Pro. It follows teaser video, which shows the signature sub-frame camera shape we also saw on the Magic6, but now with four lenses instead of three.

This color is called “Moon Shadow Grey” and was inspired by the first science fiction film A Trip to the Moon. What the video doesn’t show you is the front end – you can see it (in schematic form) in the owner’s manual. Like the Magic6 Pro, the Magic7 Pro will have a pill-shaped hole, with a 3D ToF sensor for secure facial recognition.

The rear camera will offer 6x optical zoom and up to 100x hybrid zoom. As you can see in the schematic, the top left unit has the square lens typical of periscope units.

The user manual also shows the location of the side buttons, the USB-C port (which also handles wired headphones, there’s no 3.5mm jack) and the dual nano-SIM slot (no microSD slot). We can’t wait to see it officially!
