Along with the best teachers of Lääne County, the best learners and trainers of Lääne County were thanked on Wednesday evening at Haapsalu Vocational Education Center.
Heli Pajo received the title of learner of the year in Läänemaa. According to Annika Armipaik-Nukki, Lääne county’s adult education coordinator, when choosing the learner of the year, the committee values the special stories that learning has brought to a person’s life. “The learner of the year is a model example of how learning has led to career changes, and that too at a mature age. However, every career turn is a big life change,” said Armipaik-Nukki.
