Qatari Green Way received 80% of Tavros Management Company (manages the Bashkir agricultural holding of the same name) and became its main owner, testify Unified State Register of Legal Entities data, to which paid Shopper’s attention.

19.01% of the company belongs to the closed mutual investment fund Agro Capital, which is managed by Alfa Capital. A share of 0.99% remained with the former main owner of the agricultural holding, Rustem Mirgalimov.
Tavros representative Dmitry Lgovsky confirmed to Shopper’s the change of founder and added that the company’s beneficiary has not changed. The key goals of the deal are further development and “expanding opportunities for cooperation with friendly countries, including the Middle East,” Lgovsky specified.
In 2023, 19.01% of the agricultural holding was bought by Alfa Bank, after which Mirgalimov’s share decreased to 80.98%, wrote “Kommersant”. Then, thanks to the deal, the credit institution received a liquid asset for further resale, and Tavros received money for new projects.
“Tavros” produces sugar, feed, meat, confectionery and other goods. By data Rusprofile, in 2023, the revenue of Tavros Management Company amounted to 184 million rubles, and the net loss was 669 million rubles.
