For a long time it seemed that it would end in failure for Manchester United, who took on Premier League bottom-stop Southampton on Thursday evening. But in the final minutes, Amad Diallo scored a hat-trick and secured the big club a 3-1 victory.
Southampton are all alone at the bottom of the league with just one win this season, but the visitors played straight up and more at Old Trafford for large periods. Eventually, however, the air deflated the balloon, and then Diallo stole the show.

In the second Premier League match on Thursday evening, Brighton won 2-0 away to Ipswich. Dane Matt O’Riley started inside for Brighton and assisted the team’s first score when he nicely set the ball up for Kaoru Mitoma, who kicked the ball into the box.
