Portonovi marina, a symbol of quality and superior service on the Adriatic coast, will soon be able to accommodate luxury passenger ships up to 140 meters in length and with a capacity of up to 200 passengers. This significant novelty will additionally position Herceg Novi as a prestigious destination on the tourist map.

Portonovi marina has 238 berths and until now could accommodate yachts and superyachts up to 120 meters. The marina is also the venue for regional and international regattas, and from 2022 it holds the “5 Gold Anchor” accreditation, which ranks it among the best marinas in the world.
Stevan Katić, president of the municipality of Herceg Novipointed out that Portonovi marina has been attracting a lot of attention since its opening, and the new possibility of accepting luxury passenger ships allows guests of Herceg Novi and Portonovo to arrive more easily, which is of great touristic and economic importance for the municipality itself. “Passengers of these high-class sea hotels will be able to enjoy both the facilities of the resort and the exploration of the natural beauty of Vrbanj and Orjen, visit the old town of Herceg Novi, the island of Mamula, the Blue Cave and other numerous attractions”said Katic.
