On the weekend of December 13, 14 and 15, the Martorell Padel Club will celebrate a new edition of the solidarity tournament in favor of the Baix Llobregat Nord Red Cross. The meeting will take place on the paddle courts of the Municipal Pavilion of Can Cases, from Friday afternoon until Sunday evening. With this initiative, the organization from Martorell once again demonstrates its more supportive side and unites it with padel in one of the championships with the most resonance among the club’s supporters.
The competition will be divided into six categories: Second and Third female; First, Second and Third male; and under-16. Players who want to participate and collaborate with a good cause must pay 20 euros for registration. In addition, they will have to make a donation of three kilos of food.
The coordinator of the Martorell Padel Club, Pau Quílez, says that they are looking forward to this tournament: “It is a tournament that we really like, because of the solidarity cause with which we collaborate with the Red Cross. We have been preparing it for days with the people of the club, we have confirmed different participations and it is a tournament that makes us happy”.

Although this tournament has a limited number of places, registrations are still open and the Martorell Padel Club wants to match the participation figures of the last edition, where a total of 100 people participated, divided into 50 pairs. Pau Quílez explains that “if we can overcome it, we will try. But in the end, due to time availability, we have to say no to some couple. Therefore, I think that we will at least match last year’s participation”.
