The Ministry of Finance borrowed 346 million lei from the banks, through an auction of state securities, at an interest rate of 5.89% per year.

The Ministry of Finance borrowed the amount of 346 million lei from the banks on Thursday, through an auction of treasury certificates with a discount due in 2025, at an interest rate of 5.89% per year, writes ZF.

6 primary dealers participated in the auction, and the total volume of the request was 466 million lei, of which the banks offered 375 million lei in their name and on their own account and 12 million lei on behalf of the customers.

Of the total amount awarded, the banks offered 259 million lei on their own account and 12 million lei on the account of the clients.

The non-competitive offers were 74 million lei.
