“If you encounter fraud, tell the bot about it, it will be able to tell you what to do in a specific situation. In addition, by analyzing your situations, we will be able to better confront criminals,” the bot says.
When you click on the “Start” button, the bot offers to select the situation in which the user finds himself. For example, you can report a hacking of an account in State Services or a social network, a transfer of money to scammers, or the discovery of personal data on the Internet. When choosing a situation, the bot will give instructions for further actions.

In early December, the head of the technical and forensic department of the Investigative Committee, Ivan Streltsov statedthat the damage from the activities of attackers in the three quarters of 2024 reached 150 billion rubles. Of these, 15 billion rubles were due to transactions without the consent of clients, he added.
According to Streltsov, in total, during the specified period, the Investigative Committee registered 353 thousand cases of fraud in the field of information and communication technologies, which is 25.6% more than for the same period in 2023.
