Accordingly, in 2024, goods exports increased by 2.5 percent to 262 billion dollars, breaking a record in the history of the Republic. In terms of its share in this export value, Istanbul was the province with the highest exports with 56 billion 837 million dollars. This province was followed by Kocaeli with 32 billion 5 million dollars, and Izmir with 23 billion 817 million dollars.
On the basis of provinces of activity, the highest increase last year compared to the previous year was in Kocaeli with 2 billion 188 million dollars. Kocaeli was followed by Çorum with an increase of 2 billion 104 million dollars, and Eskişehir with an increase of 591 million dollars.

On the basis of provinces of activity, in December 2024, compared to the same month of 2023, Istanbul ranked first in exports with a 0.9 percent increase and 4 billion 908 million dollars, and Kocaeli ranked second with a 6.4 percent increase and 3 billion 23 million dollars. Izmir ranked third with an 8.7 percent decrease and 2 billion 135 million dollars, Bursa ranked fourth with a 2.5 percent increase and 1 billion 625 million dollars, and Ankara ranked fifth with a 10.1 percent increase and 1 billion 144 million dollars.
In addition, in December 2024, compared to the same month of the previous year, Çorum will be first with an increase of 203 million dollars in exports on the basis of activity provinces, Kocaeli will be second with an increase of 181 million dollars, Tekirdağ will be third with an increase of 115 million dollars, Ankara will be fourth with an increase of 105 million dollars, and Eskişehir will be fourth with an increase of 105 million dollars.
