The Buzău – Focșani highway is divided into 4 lots.

Lot 1, Buzău – Vadu Pașii, has a total length of 4.6 km and approximately 8 km of connecting road. The segment will have a road junction and 4 bridges and overpasses. Of these, one will cross the Buzau River and will be the second longest in Romania, approximately 1.3 km.

Lot 2, Vadu Pașii – Râmnicu Sărat, has a length of approximately 31 kilometers and is largely completed.

On Lot 3, Râmnicu Sărat – Mândrești Munteni, with a length of 36.1 km, 18 bridges and a passage must be built. The most complicated work is the 380 m bridge over the DJ 205R and the Râmna stream.

Lot 4 Mândrești Munteni – Focșani Nord is known as the “Focșani hump”, with 10.9 km of highway. Connecting roads with DN2 and DN2D are added to this section. The builder must arrange 6 bridges and a passage, as well as 2 road junctions. The link road to the A7 will be demarcated with New Jersey type parapets.
