The Moldovan government wants to resume transfers from the Russian Federation

“It wasn’t the government that stopped them,” he says about money transfers (quote TASS from an interview with Exclusive TV) – these companies fell under international sanctions, including the United States <…> The government, on the contrary, is looking for opportunities so that our citizens who are in Russia can send money to Moldova. And vice versa: those who live in Moldova could transfer money to Russia.”

Previously, transfers between countries were available through payment systems (Contact, Unistream, Zolotaya Korona). Starting in 2023, all these channels gradually stopped working, as Chisinau joined anti-Russian sanctions due to the risk of isolating the banking system.
