Aleksandar Antic, director of the Corridor of Serbia, said that the award is particularly important, because it is the Moravian Corridor the longest infrastructure project which is currently under construction in Serbia.

He pointed out that in addition to the safety of road users, special attention is paid to the preservation of the environment, with a special focus on regulation of the flow of the Zapadna Morava river in a length of almost 60 kilometers.

The award represents an incentive for further efficient implementation of the project, and it is especially important that another 30 kilometers from Kruševac to Vrnjačka Banja will soon be opened.
