DAPURPACUID – Finally PT Chery Sales Indonesia (CSI) announced the official price tag for the new variant in the Tiggo Series range, namely Tiggo 8, which is IDR 349.5 million on the road in Jakarta.
Chery took quick steps considering that the newest model introduced at GIIAS 2024 managed to get a positive response from visitors.
In fact, dozens of people have tried it directly and received good responses regarding the performance and modern features included in the SUV with a capacity of seven passengers.
Now, the official price for a newcomer in the 7-seater SUV segment has emerged with the price being considered the most significant. Tiggo 8 comes in two types, namely Comfort and Premium.
Assistant President Director of PT CSI, Zeng Shuo said, the presence of this new product emphasizes the company’s commitment to providing products that are tough, sophisticated and in line with consumer tastes.
During the launch in the Kuningan area, South Jakarta, last Tuesday (8/10), Zeng Shuo emphasized that the Tiggo 8 could be the right choice for those who want to represent themselves.
“In this way, our product is not just a car that can be used on adventures with your family or loved ones, it also complements your lifestyle and shows its existence, both for everyday life and work,” he added.
The presence of this model is to complement the family members of the Tiggo 8 series which were previously presented to the Indonesian market, namely the Tiggo 8 Pro and Tiggo 8 Pro Max.
Tiggo 8 is equipped with the best features, such as nine ADAS (Advanced Driving Assistance System) features and six airbags (two front airbags, two front side airbags and two side curtain airbags).
Then there is also a Panoramic Sunroof, 10.25 inch LCD screen plus 12.3 inch LCD instrument panel, 360 camera, Dual Zone AC, and Intelligent Voice Assistant.
From the performance sector, the Tiggo 8 is equipped with a 1.6 liter TGDI engine supported by a turbo with a 7 DCT transmission, producing 183 hp of power with a maximum torque of 290 Nm.

Regarding price, the Comfort variant which is marketed at IDR 349.5 million and the Premium with a price tag of IDR 389.5 million is a special selling point for the first 1,000 consumers.
Sales Director of PT CSI, Budi Darmawan Jantania, said that prospective consumers who make Tiggo 8 purchase transactions will be rewarded with many benefits.
Especially for the first 1,000 consumers, they will receive free periodic maintenance (services and spare parts) for 4 years/60,000 Km, as well as a 10 year or 1,000,000 Km engine guarantee.
