Artificial intelligence is penetrating more and more devices and, with it, more and more programs. Microsoft he doesn’t want to be left behind, so he’s going to catch up AI to various basic programs in Windows. As we have already informed you, Notepad will receive it. And now it turns out that it will also enrich Painting.
Paint is an absolutely exceptional program that is a permanent part of the Windows operating system. It even appeared in the very first version of Windows in the year 1985. And it is also a popular piece of software that even children learn to control in computer science classes at elementary schools. But painting can do much more than just color circles and rectangles. And its functions will now be even more advanced.
Cocreator and generative functions
You may already know that Artificial Intelligence has been working in Painting for some time. But not for everyone. This is the so-called Cocreator, which can conjure up anything based on your thumbnail and a text prompt – but it only works on certified computers Copilot+ PC. Which are, for example, devices with a processor Snapdragon X. And what’s even funnier, v EU this function is not available.
But the novelty should serve absolutely all users. These will be smart functions Generative Erase (Generative deletion) a Generative Fill (Generative filler). The first one will help you easily remove all the objects you don’t want from your images. The second edits the desired parts of images or photos based on text prompts (which is similar to what is done in Cocreator).
The news will thus serve not only lay people who like to play around with the editing of their photos, but also artists. The only condition for using them is to have them installed Windows 11.
