The whiteness of Kielo’s flowers and their lovely scent inspire you to decorate both everyday and festive occasions.
Depending on the conditions, kielo’s flowers stay fresh for a couple of days. You can extend their shelf life by spraying them with water.
Kielo’s flowers dry slightly yellowish and stay well on their stems.
Please note that the kalliokielo has been pacified in the provinces of North Ostrobothnia, Lapland and Kainuu.
Language wreath
Supplies:
- A large bouquet of lingonberry blossoms and about 30 small lingonberry leaves
- dark iron wire (bobbin thread)
- side cutters
Do like this
- Wrap three rounds of wreath base from iron wire. Connect the ends by twisting them around each other.
- Make a small bouquet out of the flower stems and add one lingonberry leaf to it. Place the bouquet on the base of the wreath and fasten by twisting the iron wire around it and the wreath. Add a new bouquet and leaf and continue until the base of the wreath is covered. Place the bases of the last bouquets under the first tied ones.
- Cut the iron wire and hide its end on the wrong side of the wreath.
- You can extend the shelf life of marigolds by spraying them with water. They stay fresh for a couple of days. The sedge flowers dry yellowish and stay well on their stems.
