The most expensive house in Los Angeles was destroyed by the wildfires that hit the wider area.

The 18-bedroom home, owned by 29-year-old Luminar Technologies chief Austin Russell, was available to rent for $450,000 a month.

In 2023, the futuristic property had a starring role in HBO’s epic Succession, where it stole the show as the luxury property owned by the Roy brothers in Season 4.

The tech mogul’s now-destroyed property is one of the most famous homes lost.

Before the fire, the impressive home had 18 bedrooms and six bathrooms.

Also a temperature-controlled wine cellar in the basement, while the roof was retractable “for stargazing” and the lush gardens housed a state-of-the-art swimming pool.

The outdoor pool, once the focal point of the garden, is now a wooden pit filled with murky black water.
